If any of these modules are found a message is first shown with the modules which need to be disabled and then the PSP performs a reboot. Other: Implemented a check for modules which are known to cause issues with PSP Tool. Other: To reduce the risk of a BSOD when installing or running a firmware from a Magic Memory Stick the registry of a 1.50 system is now copied instead of the registry of the current system (to use the current systems registry files hold the L trigger while the Magic Memory Stick is being created.) Other: Other Memory Sticks can now be formatted by first clicking on the format item in the menu and before answering yes to the questions insert the second Memory Stick. Download, uncompress it to your PSP in the GAME folder and run it to install.Added: Support for 2.71 SE and 1.50 running under Time Machine and check to disable running on 3.71.įixed: RSOD when choosing ‘Test M33’ feature on a DC7 MMS created with this application (only occurred on Fat).įixed: Issue using SQUARE as part of the boot key when creating a Magic Memory Stick.įixed: Issue which could arise when creating more than one Magic Memory Stick in a single session.

Then, you should download a custom firmware or a HEN. After some minutes and a couple of questions, your PSP will be updated to 6.35 OFW. Be sure before doing this your PSP is connected to electrical supply.

Any help would be appreciated.I don't know which file you downloaded, but first step you should try it's to download a proper OFW 6.35 update here and uncompress it to your folder ms0:\game\update and run that file frome the XMB (it will appear under the GAME menu, for your MS). Please can someone reply with a solution.

Motupaul wrote:One fine day 6.35 HEN was released, so I think "Alright! Upgrade to 6.35 OFW and then go to 6.35 HEN". I will still treasure it for my whole life, no matter what. Suggest me anything that I can try ANYTHING, doesn't matter even if I brick my PSP in the process. I am in no way gonna give up on making him work normal again. I spent every single penny of my first pay slip to buy it with all the accessories, it means a lot to me. I cannot even ditch my PSP as I treasure it the most, its the first thing I got with my FIRST EVER salary. I have also tried running chkdsk with both /f and /r parameters to repair errors if any. I have also restored my PSP to factory settings and also formatted my Memory stick(Sony MS PRO-HG Duo HX). I tried upgrading to 6.35, 6.39 etc but still gives me the same error. My PSP was all fine with me for a year exactly and now it decides to act up, with this evil error, for some reason. I am so used to seeing that error Ive had it by heart and trust me I am not good at remembering things, let alone numbers. Still comes up with the same error 80020148. Tried the tutorial in the following link: " viewtopic.php?f=21&t=6413". I am sure that the update file (6.35) that I downloaded is perfectly fine as I have downloaded it 14 times from different locations. I have tried everything ISO tool, ebt exchange etc. Please somebody help! I am really frustrated with this. One fine day 6.35 HEN was released, so I think "Alright! Upgrade to 6.35 OFW and then go to 6.35 HEN".īUT the problem is I am not able to upgrade to OFW 6.35 as well, my PSP throws the same error "(80020148) The game could not be started". Whenever I try searching a solution for 80020148 the very first step mentioned would be to boot into the recovery menu, but my PSP is on OFW and recovery menu is not available(matter of fact never even seen a recovery menu on my PSP). Whenever I run an ISO it just gives me a black screen. I am using Prometheus ISO loader mentioned in the same set of tutorials for Sukkiri exploit. I thought I'll upgrade to 6.35 and use the HEN. I am able to use the Sukkiri exploit to run basic homebrews, but am not able to run ISOs. I have searched for a resolution for this error (80020148) everywhere, but am not able to find a solution at all.
